***Nick was brought back to Huntington for surgery today. He came through the surgery well and is recovering. We give God the praise for each victory. ***
I had received a message that the health care bills are now close to 1 million. We have started making a small dent in the amount, but still have lots of work to do. With that being said, I am thrilled about the news that I received from my friend Jocelyn, from State Electric in Huntington, WV. The press release is below, and should be in this Sundays edition of the Herald Dispatch Newspaper

State Electric Supply Co. and El Haijj Salon & Spa
join together to raise money for Team Nick!
IMMEDIATE: Information contact: Jocelyn Knapp (304) 528-0226
State Electric Supply Company & El Haijj Salon & Spa announced they will host a fundraiser for Nick Hall on:
Monday, December 10th from 11:00 – 2:00pm at State Electric Supply Company’s corporate location in Huntington, WV.
The fundraiser will consist of chair massages and manicures with a minimum donation of $10. ALL proceeds will be used to support Team Nick.
Nick Hall was a purchaser for State Electric Supply Company until this past September. Nick wrecked his Harley motorcycle when a deer jumped out in front of him on Rt. 538 in Catlettsburg, KY. Nick suffered a traumatic brain injury and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at a facility in Lexington, KY. The money raised during this event will go towards assisting in medical expenses.
Susan Hage, owner of El Haijj Salon & Spa heard the story about Nick and knew of the close knit family environment of State Electric and she immediately wanted to help. With her business being located just a few blocks down from State Electric Supply Company on 20th Street, she says, "Community members really learn from each other when such a tragedy happens, I just want to help State Electric support a member of their own family."
El Haijj Salon & Spa’s number one seller over the holiday season is gift certificates. "I know people like being pampered and feeling good about themselves, my employees and I wanted to reach out and help State Electric feel good about themselves and hopefully raise some money for Nick", says Hage. Hage doesn’t have a direct relationship with Nick Hall, but felt a strong connection to his family’s faith and hope thru the obstacles they have faced since his accident.
If you are unable to attend the fundraiser and you feel the need to donate please visit our online fundraiser.
